Robert Kennedy received his formal art training at the Rhode Island School of Design (1961) where he studied painting and illustration. A native of Boston, Kennedy has gathered inspiration and experience traveling throughout the Caribbean, Florida, Mexico, and the South West with his sketchbook and watercolors. His crisp detailed pen & ink drawings provide an historical record characteristic of the waterfronts and neighborhoods, including a variety of popular pubs and personalities of some of the most colorful areas of America.
